I am a Senior Scientist in Classical Archaeology at the University of Salzburg in Austria. I studied Classical Archaeology and Ancient History at the University of Innsbruck, completing my doctorate in Classical Archaeology under the supervision of Professor Erich Kistler in 2019. My academic career has taken me from research, teaching, and coordination roles at the University of Innsbruck to a postdoctoral position in Greek archaeology with Professor Naoíse Mac Sweeney at the University of Vienna. I also served as Curator of the Archaeological Collection there from 2021 before joining the University of Salzburg in 2026. Throughout my career, I have combined individual and collaborative research with extensive university teaching, student supervision, research management, collection development, conservation and digitisation initiatives, and public outreach. I value the variety of academic life, moving between seminar rooms, administrative tasks, fieldwork seasons, and research projects that continue to excite me, both long-standing and newly emerging.
